The Preparatory Meeting_ March 23rd 2007

There is a study that in terms of ISMEP Project of the assessment of volunteer system in disaster preparedness and response work to assess the existing disaster volunteer programs in Istanbul and provide recommendations for a sustainable community disaster volunteers ‘road map’ from conceptual, organizational and practical aspects.

Before the disaster volunteers road map/model” is discussed with the related institutions at a well attended “search conference’’ a preparatory meeting was held with the participation of Governorship of Istanbul and relevant administrative staff on March 23rd 2007.  The report of the preparatory meeting was prepared and got feedbacks from participants.
